Indoor Gymnasium, Seasonal Pool, 7 Bedroom, Sleeps 25

This spacious 3,200 square foot home features five acres of land, seven bedrooms, 3 full baths, 3 half baths, in ground saltwater swimming pool, a building with all wooden indoor gymnasium, and a wraparound deck. Located just outside of historic Fort Recovery, it is a perfect location for your next family reunion or friend get-away, bachelor/ bachelorette parties. Enjoy the pool and campfires in the summer and indoor gymnasium winter. Wonderful for large families and for kids!
The main floor features a large kitchen with solid surface countertops and stainless-steel appliances. There is plenty of dining seating including breakfast nook, and a formal dining room. The living room features a large stone fireplace, perfect for relaxing after an enjoyable day. The main floor also includes a bedroom, half and full bathroom.
The second floor features a large master suite with a bathroom and a large jetted tub. The large third bedroom, also located on the second floor, has three queen beds that can sleep six. The spacious fourth bedroom, on the second floor, has a king bed, baby crib, a half bathroom, and washer and dryer.
The basement includes a large living area, a ping pong table, three more bedrooms, a full bathroom and another washer and dryer. The three basement bedrooms have a king, queen/full trundle, and a queen bed.
The walkout basement leads to the heated in-ground saltwater pool. (3 ft to 10 ft deep) Pool is open from early May until late September
Finally, full access to the detached building that includes a full size all wooden volleyball court, basketball hoops on each end. Easy to move net to enjoy some pickleball or dodgeball aw well. A loft overlooking the court with a wet bar, a lounge area, pool table and half bath. Some gym ball provided. Note: Your safety matters. An exterior camera is pointed at the driveway and the pool. The camera does not look at any interior spaces.

4 year of a family reunion here. We love it! A great place. Loved playing pickleball this year and using the hot tub. Basement can get cool at night in the winter. Extra blankets would be useful. Overall wonderful!

The trip was absolutely amazing. It's a beautiful property. While the listing pictures are beautiful, we were all stunned when seeing the home, surrounding land, and gymnasium! They have everything you could need. Best place I've stayed in!

We had a great stay! The property was perfect for our group. We enjoyed the outdoor space, the gymnasium, and the house. They all worked well for our group of young professionals. We gathered to stream an online leadership conference. There was ample space to be comfortable while viewing and relaxing. The host was easy to get ahold of. Everything we needed was onsite. Would definitely stay again during a warmer month to take advantage of the inground pool.

Fantastic property

I'm happy to have found this unique getaway. It was perfect for a long weekend with family. The gym was in use constantly! Everyone enjoyed basketball, volleyball, pickleball and the favorite--kids vs. adults dodgeball. Hope to return in the summer to take advantage of the outdoor pool and beautiful setting!

Large family celebration

Celebrated Christmas together with 9 of 12 siblings attending and many spouses. Great location (easy walk to town), loved the gym to play Pickleball and pool. Enjoyed the hot tub, large kitchen, and just a great space for all of us to gather. The bathroom locations are a little tricky, but it all worked just fine. Great place!

Excellent retreat location

From the moment I found this place online through our stay all the way up into our departure. This property did not disappoint so much to do in so much room. The basketball court is an awesome addition and can also be used for dodgeball and volleyball. Lots of things to do for activities. We were overwhelmed by how much there was to do at the house and all of the amenities. Actually, can’t wait to come down here again looking to do a friends and family getaway there! A+ Rating!

New Years Eve

Enjoyed our stay with 3 other families for New Years Eve weekend. Plenty to do all weekend, we never left the house! Kids loved the gym, adults hung around the house. Loved that we could cook meals, kitchen had everything we needed, very well stocked! Thinking of coming back for a stay in the summer.

The ultimate All-In-One bachelor party venue

Check in was very simple. The property itself was nothing short of incredible. We hosted our friend’s bachelor party and had two amazing days of basketball, dodgeball, and pool time. More than enough space and beds for everyone inside. Tailspin brewery is roughly 15 minutes away from the property and had very good drinks and atmosphere. 10/10 recommend

Rinker Family Christmas 2023

Lots of opportunities for all kinds of activities such as basketball, volleyball, dodgeball, ping pong, pool, and hot tub were enjoyed. There was Plenty of room for seating to gather for games of all kinds, for visiting, and for meals or just relaxing. We didn’t leave the property except to take a walk in the park next door and go to church which is really close too. A great place anyone would enjoy.

Amazing getaway

We had an amazing 2 days getaway with our friends and family! Our almost 5 hour drive to this like in a fairytale house location was so worth it. Very quite place, mesmerizing view from the balcony and relaxing beach style feeling from the pool. The house was clean and comfortable with all the amenities you need to make your stay feel lime home. Adults enjoyed the pool, but the cherry on the top was the huge, modern gym, were kids were having a blast! Actually an amazing addition along with all the other amenities the house provided. Would definitely recommand this owners and the house to anyone who is looking for a top vacation with a twist of home comfy feeling!

Perfect spot for an active 3 generation family holiday!

Our family tries to get together at least once each year, normally around the Christmas holiday. We (2 grandparents, 8 children and spouses, and 15 grandchildren ages 7 to 30) came to this Ft Recovery gem from Ohio, Illinois, New York, Los Angeles and Virginia. The main floor open kitchen, living room and eating spaces, game area in the lower floor, and fantastic adjacent building with full basketball/volleyball court and loft with wet bar allowed us to spread out and spend time in small groups (as we like to do) throughout our stay.In addition to lots of good food and games, we managed to work in a fine wine tasting by our son-in-law sommelier, line dancing in the gym led by a granddaughter, and a basketball challenge to game of PIG by the 78 year old grandfather to a 23 year old grandson; final result: GS PIGGY, GF PI.We already booked our next visit for December 2025.

Good time had by all.

I’m glad I am a carpenter. Because I had to adjust about all the bifold doors because they wouldn’t open or close very well because of new carpeting. if I wouldn’t have done that, they probably would have been ruined by the end of the stay. Also took a little plastic tack off of the bottom of the door, going into the bedroom on the first floor. It was making an arc on the carpeting which would have worn the carpeting real fast.week Also fixed one of the porch 45° angle.

Great family vacation!

This property has plenty for everyone. Twenty-somethings had a blast!! Pool was great and indoor basketball court provided hours of activities for the entire crew.
