"Spacious rooms, very nice staff. All in all very comfortable, quiet, and clean. Popped open my room window to the woods and enjoyed a cool evening. Decent restaurant next door, caterers to our family reunion in n the lodge hall that day, darned good grits. Got my nickle’s worth!"

"This is a beautiful home, very clean. There was nothing lacking. The beds and linens were very comfortable. It was a little hard to find but that was because the street signs were absent or confusing. It would be fun to come back and use the lower level activities with my family.Thank you Lance for your hospitality."

"Very friendly staff that got me a ground level room. The room was very clean with a comfortable bed. The linens were good quality. But the whole property is in need of a makeover. Chipping paint, outdated & worn plumbing fixtures and a door that barely closed enough to use a tiny deadbolt. Glad I was in a low crime area!"

"I can't say there was anything we don't like about this place. Everything was fantastic. The whole place and the staff was so inviting and great. It is even within walking distance of shops and restaurants. The gift shop was so cute and very reasonable priced. "

"We had 2 families with adult children stay here. We had plenty of room. We had a great time and only wish it hadn’t rained as much. We did get one day to enjoy playing pickleball outside on the driveway and then going on the lake for a boat ride. Id say our only complaint would be that 2 pull out couch beds were not comfortable. And the “library desk area” could be better utilized as another room or a twin daybed (trundle bed). Thanks so much! We hope to visit again!"

Both courts are amazing - these are better than any public courts out there - hands down!! Access to a golf cart was great as well, for the short drive across the road to the lake. We We were able to easily slip our boat & jetski which was super convenient. We enjoyed the fire pit and host provided s’mores. • Host Communication: Very Responsive, professional, and proactive.
