"This is one of the nicest 'Up North' cabins I've stayed in. The cabins are clean and fresh rustic style. The beds were comfortable. A lot of consideration was given to Travelers needs to deal with their stuff. The property is great with the fire pit, trail to the Platte River, game room, well maintained yard. I totally recommend staying at Cedar Ridge Cabins."

"Host had external cameras on property that were not disclosed to us. Nothing on the VRBO page has anything listed about cameras. There were other tenants on the property, who were using our outdoor spaces, and we were not told that there were other tenants. We did not have access to their part of the house, and had it been listed that way, we would have chosen another location. It was very unsettling that other people were staying on the property and we were not made aware. The title for this property says “AC,” but there was no central air, only AC units in three rooms, which was not disclosed on the VRBO page. It did not drop below 76 in the house during the entire stay. It was not disclosed that the only shower on the property had a window that makes the person in the shower visible from the outside. The host accused me of theft of towels before finding them in her dryer. The host was short and snippy with me over text after accusing me of accumulating so much trash and checking in hours before check in. We had zero trash bags and checked in 2 hours after check in. "
"Stunning home with great amenities. Great kitchen for preparing meals and an open layout for visiting. Every view from the house is beautiful. Perfect lake for fishing and quiet outdoor space. Definitely coming again! Even our teenagers loved it!"

"We stayed here for three nights, which was the final leg of our eight-night trip back to our home state. Although we didn't spend much time on the property while traveling the area, we thoroughly enjoyed the time we did spend there. The place has everything, very well decorated, a bit funky, and lots of fun. Barb was very accommodating and wished we could have spent a bit of time with her, but via text, she was very responsive. So many nice touches, both inside and out on the wrap-around porch. We had been hoping to do our lodging in Traverse City when setting the trip up a few months back, but due to the Fourth, there were slim pickings. As it turned out, this was the better pick! In terms of location, probably more central than TC when it comes to visiting the overall area. So - there has to be one negative, right? I'm including TC with this as well, there just aren't many breakfast places, we never saw one! :) "
"The home is very cute and cozy!! It was the perfect size for our family of four. The beds were very comfortable! Our son loved using the paddle board to go fishing in the calm pond. The neighborhood is very quiet. The deck was the perfect spot to sit and enjoy the lake. The view from the windows overlooking the lake was so peaceful. The Lake Ann area is just beautiful. We felt as though the home is in a perfect location to go explore the Dunes or to go to Traverse City. If you plan on exploring the Northern Michigan area, this home is the perfect in between spot to do all of that! "
