"Located across the street from Central Park. Wonderful service and comfortable beds. Our room was very quiet and we did not hear any street or outside noise at all. "

"This was our second year in a row we’ve come there.and the staff was awesome as always..our guy whose been there 18 years is the reason we came back and will again "
"If location is everything, this hotel is winning. Nestled just next to the 57th Street Subway, it's like having a magic portal to the rest of NYC—Broadway, Central Park, Brooklyn bagels—all within one ride.
The room? A spacious little haven and spotlessly cleaned each day. It was like returning to a fresh slice of calm after the city’s chaos. Only bummer? No morning gown! I didn’t ask the front desk, so maybe it was a secret perk for the bold.
Now, for the one real twist in the story—no bar. Not even a quiet lounge to sip a pre-dinner drink while waiting for your slowpoke travel mates. A missed opportunity, really. A hotel cocktail moment can be pure New York romance.
Overall, it’s a great base for your city escapades—comfortable, clean, and in the heart of it all. Maybe scout out a nearby speakeasy for your nightcap."
"Right at Times Square! Easy walk to Broadway Performances. Several bus stops and 4 subway lines within a few block radius. Bed was comfortable. The only thing i didn't like was the A/C. You could lower the temperature to 68, but it immediately changed back to 70. So, there was really no control over the air temp- it was 70 and that's what you get. "
"It was really clean. There were great perks for hotel guests. Rooms were nice and cool in the summer. Amazing location. Food was excellent in hotel dining. Breakfast coupons down the street were also great butcher sandwiches perfect to transport around the city. "
"The Jewel Hotel is indeed a jewel in the middle of NYC. The staff, especially Erick at Reception are amazing.
The rooms are spotless and beds extremely comfortable. 10 out of 10"
"Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Room was nice, clean, full kitchen, everything was fine. The room is small (210 sq ft) but I knew that going in, and frankly it was big enough to be comfortable. Checkin was super easy, just nothing to complain about. I'll be back."
