5/5 - Excellent

Great is such an understatement. There aren't any words to describe this place. It's super overwhelming, so plan ahead and decide what eras you're interested in seeing most and start there. Otherwise, you won't know what direction to go first. You'll want to get an early start and make the most of your time, because it closes around 4:30pm. I purchased the audio guide which is ok, but only if you plan to take time at each piece to listen. Honestly, it's best to just keep moving and take in as much as possible.

I love it, I'm a member, but it's expensive! And they did away with the membership discount for out of staters. They're limiting who can afford to see the art.

Took advantage of the ticket being good for 3 consecutive days by using it Friday and Saturday late nights after work. Logged over 6 hrs of art time!

The general admission tickets for the Metropolitan Museum of Art are good for three days and include three museums. The MET's art collection is the third largest in the world. It takes days to see it all. With a three day ticket, you can easily come back.
