Weekend Surprise Getaway
"We loved this place! We used it as a weekend getaway over the holiday weekend for my husbands 30th birthday. Everything was super clean and decorated so cute! There were a couple times over the last few months I had to message the owners about our booking with a question and they got back to us so quickly! They truly thought of everything as far as the fire pit and supplies, all of the games in the basement, and a lot of kitchen supplies that made our stay simple. Would definitely recommend!"

"If you want a real getaway weekend this is the place for you. You need to be prepared to travel on some backroads but once you get to Alpine Lake it is beautiful. The internet was out almost our entire weekend and I did report to the management three times without hearing back from them. The beds were very comfortable kitchen was stocked just okay in my opinion. We appreciated the cleanliness. The steps leading into the cabin are steep and it was pouring down rain when we got there so they are very slippery so that could be hazardous. The smoke alarm in the basement was removed and laying on a table. I did contact them right away about that and they were to come over the next day with batteries but that never happened. The cabin is stocked with lots of games and our children enjoyed those. The DVD player in the main family room did not work. We had a nice weekend but overall it could have been better. "
