Clean and peaceful to sleep. Some issues at checkin (AC control and taxes payment), but sorted out quickly. The man at the reception refused to change the room and told us all the room are the same.He give us another room card to keep the air cond running while we go out for dinner. After 3 hours, we come back and the room is still warm. The night shift staff speak foul language when we ask to change to another room. Also he trick us to go up and down 3 times to change the card/pouch/breakfast coupon tjen change another room for.us. We have over 20 years experience of travelling and never see something like this before. Breakfast food and service good. But the cleaning very bad: I asked for room cleaning once only in 5 days but nothing was cleaned: not the bathroom, nor the tables and glasses; they only changed the sheets and towels. The hotel 19 was worse than you imagine, they give me room in 4th floor (410) and the elevator was out of service. Can not be better. 2 min. walk to Jetty bus station. All local busses start there. Every sight is within walking distance. Breakfast is eather toast, egg and beens (asians loved it) or nasi lemak (rice, boiled eg and hot sauce) which i prefered. Once they forgot to clean our room, we complained. And than they done it.
