“Great peaceful house.”

“Lovely peaceful area with very little traffic. The property is unmistakably "beach hut" from a bygone era, but brought back many childhood memories of holidaying in similar properties. The interior was clean and well-appointed - certainly not luxury but certainly adequate. Fully fenced yard for a dog or two. The bedrooms are well-positioned to take advantage of the sounds of the ocean at night, allowing for restful sleeping. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The weather didn't play the game but we……

“My husband and I had a fabulous time staying at Sally’s restored church. She is absolutely a gem of a host! Sally was very easy to communicate with before check in, gave us some sight seeing recommendations during our stay, and was easy to work with to coordinate check out. The church looks exactly like the photos, which is always nice. The kitchenette is perfect for coffee and breakfast at home while enjoying the morning light through the stained glass windows. “Amazing location for the family. 3 Generations were very comfortable and teenage kids were occupied with beach and pool activities. Not too far from Innisfail for supplies (20mins). House was extremely well provisioned with EVERYTHING!!! Thanks for sharing your paradise and allowing us to have the opportunity to do so. 😊”

“We’re not notified of smaller cabin until after fees were deducted from card. The booking site said camp bed available on request but manager had no clue. My teenage son spent the nights in a swag that we bought with us. Cabin was 6x2m, not suitable for family of 4. Hot water not switched to full gas tank before we arrived. Wifi provided but didn’t work. Cupboards dirty, stains on pull out couch mattress cover and extra blankets unwashed and smelly. After 2 nights, we left a day earlier……

“The hotel missed our booking, we were offered a room where the previous guest had not reached the bathroom in time after too much beer with a distinct odor left in the room. As we could not stay in the piss saturated room we were giving the only spare room, a miniature 2,4 x 3 meters in size, somewhat challenging fitting two persons, two bikes and rather spacious panniers in there. The shared bathroom, shower and kitchen were ok.”
