"Really nice clean comfortable room, good large en-suite too, did have a problem with the shower but all was sorted. Friendly staff on check in and during my stay. Good WiFi and amenities with microwave, toaster, kettle etc. very comfortable stay. "

Every member of staff we met were warm and friendly and the cooked breakfast was superb. Appledore is such a lovely destination and a stay at the Royal George makes it all the more special. "From start to finish, this was a really nice place to stay. The landlady Jill made me feel very welcome and was kind enough to explain everything for my stay, including suitable dining options nearby. This is a really nice pub, well kept beers and a very stylish bar area. Breakfast was really nice. I would recommend this place for people looking to stay in the area."
