"Eda could not have been more welcoming or helpful. Her attention to detail and facilities are second to none. The setting is incredibly beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. Ideal base for cycling or walking and not too far from all of the amazing sights, history and culture that Istria has to offer. A car is essential and drivers that are not fazed by the unmade road to the villa! We had a truly wonderful honeymoon and will be returning next year for our first anniversary to explore this...

"Bij aankomst werden we vriendelijk ontvangen en alles werd duidelijk uitgelegd, martina had gezorgd voor een volle koelkast met lekkere dingen. Het huisje ligt vol met schoonmaakmiddelen, wasmiddel, wc&keuken papier, voldoende handdoeken. Uitzicht is echt prachtig. Het zwembad wordt 1keer in de week schoongemaakt . Communicatie gaat via whatsapp ideaal. Wij hebben genoten van de plek."

"A lovely house in the Istrian countryside. Close to supermarkets and restaurants and within easy reach of beaches and beautiful towns. The house is very well kept and organised with plenty of room. "The Villa Maria is amazing, we had a thoroughly relaxing time. The pool was very well used by us all but especially my 2 children, the Villa has everything you need for a stress free holiday. You definitely need a car as it is so remote but in our opinion this added to the charm. The owners Valmi and Andreja were fantastic throughout. I would highly recommend the Villa Maria, my youngest is 9 and she loved it. I would definitely stay again. Thank you Valmi and Andreja."

"Really beautifully renovated building. Modern kitchen/ bathrooms but nice thick stone walls too! Hosts were friendly, generous and always responded quickly to any questions. Centrally located so most sites we wanted to see were 30-45 min drive away from the house. Swings in the backyard were great for our kids!"
