Stunning home in a beautiful location. The design is really something to behold. The surrounding area is remote, wild and beautiful. The pool is lovely and the views are unmatched. A couple of good restaurants nearby and bakeries and grocery shops in the town below. It’s a great jumping off spot away from the noise of Taormina, but still easy to go for a visit. Also close to many excellent wineries on Etna.

Superbe, la maison, le lieu ..... quelle chence d'avoir pu séjourner dans cette maison idéale ! L'étage avec la piscine est commun on y vit tous ensemble, les chambres en sous sols sont lumineuses malgré tout et super confortable surtout la suite parentale avec la superbe salle de bain . On a adoré ce lieu paisible ..... Deux petites remarques, l'escalier esthétiquement magique qui descend au centre de la piscine nous à un peu effrayé avec les enfants, mais il est très visuel, peut être qu'un petit filet sécuriserait le risque de chute ....? L'accès par un chemin assez rustique interdit l'accés en voiture base, mais ces deux détails ne nous empècherons pas de revenir dans ce lieu de quiétude et cette maison très agréable à vivre. Guilia nous a gentillement proposé de rester une matinée de plus, car les hotes suivant n'arrivaient pas de suite ..... bref super adresse .... super acceuil .....

Ideallic house with breathtaking views. House is very well equipped and comfy. Far lovlier than the pictures can give credit. Great access to the Alcantara Gorge and a lovely restaurant close by. Giuseppe, the key holder, was very helpful and passionate about the local area. Road leading to the property is a little hairy but to be expected given the remote location. It is essential to have a car staying here as amenities are a drive away. Bit longer than 10 minutes to get to Taormina. Showers were a bit temperamental but again, this is to be expected in Sicily, especially for a property in the mountains. Giuseppe was always on hand and available to support. A wonderful stay and we would highly recommend it.

Modern Villa, Great Pool, View and Location

Loved it! Giuseppe - the villa caretaker - was lovely, helpful and informative. The villa is exactly like the pictures - modern, great equipment and a fantastic pool and outdoor space with great views. The bedrooms - particularly the master - are spacious and cool (because they’re downstairs). The beaches, Taormina, The Gole Alcantara are all within a 20 minute drive, but there are so many places to visit and things to do - Etna is a must!

Très bonne communication avec Giulia et Victor en amont de la réservation. Très bonne communication également avec Giuseppe (et sa famille) le détenteur de clefs, qui a su être accueillant et réactif à nos sollicitations. La villa est spacieuse et magnifique. La vue est top et le calme appréciable. Malgré des températures peu élevées la nuit à cette époque de l'année, les enfants ont pu profiter de la piscine un peu fraîche. Il y a tout à disposition, la cuisine est équipée (sans micro-onde). Nous avions même quelques produits locaux offerts à disposition à notre arrivée. Attention pour ceux avec un enfant en bas âge, il n'y a pas de sécurité autour de la piscine et quelques escaliers à l'intérieur mais avec une bonne surveillance tout se passe bien ????. Un lit bébé a été mis à disposition également.

Excellent place to stay for a family holiday. Private, peaceful and close enough to nearby towns and attractions. The pool especially was a standout. Hosts were communicative and provided helpful instructions and recommendations. Having a car is a must, but it is well worth the trip up the hill to the accommodation. Would definitely recommend!

Property was good. Owners were great and responsive. View from villa is lovely. Locally there is just the nearby resturant that is very nice but we thought menu limited and also pricey. Most days we went into Tao which is fabulous. You just need to accept the 30 min drive each way.

Stayed with our two adult sons and Nephew. Great base for touring .house is really special unbelievable views, wonderful to wake up to each day. Great sunsets from the deck. The nearby restaurant paradise does a wonderful job and it’s just a short walk down the hill. You really feel like you were in the country in a secluded space but you can easily be by the seashore for shopping and lunch. We would love to try the house in season. House manager was very attentive dishwasher broke and was replaced within a day on Easter weekend. We cooked Easter dinner at home and were able to enjoy some family time.

As expected. Modern contemporary villa in a superb setting. Peaceful and quiet with stunning views. The nearby Paradise Restaurant was excellent but the only one within possible walking distance (hence the 4 star location rating) The access road is a sleep dirt track and a 4x4 is recommended but not essential. The property manager, Giuseppe, was unfortunately ill during our stay but as we had no questions nor issues we had no need to contact him (hence the 1 star rating) The villa was equipped with everything one could want and would have no hesitation in recommending it to others. A great base from which to explore this area of North East Sicily.

Les plus : La maison en elle-même est magnifique, avec une vue à couper le souffle. L'accueil est excellent. Merci à Giuseppe et sa famille qui sont adorables. Petite épicerie, et délicates attentions comme une bouteille de vin, d'huile d'olive, des pâtes, de la sauce tomate, des olives et du pain vous attendent à l'arrivée. L'environnement est très sympathique, et vous rencontrerez certainement deux adorables petits chats qui sont habitués à se faire nourrir par les vacanciers. (je plaide coupable aussi) Petit supermarché (mais bien achalandé) dans Gaggi à 5 mn de la maison, et plus gros (I gabbiani, Eurospin) à 15 mn. Les moins : L'équipement intérieur ne correspond pas (ou plus ?) au standing de la maison : tapis tachés, sofas hors d'âge, literie à changer (inconfortable) , pas de micro-ondes ni de cafetière à dosettes (cafetiere italienne qui fait du très bon café ou cafetiere a filtre), table extérieure pleine de taches de graisse, coussins tachés, une seule taille de plat à four... Cette superbe maison mériterait un entretien courant plus poussé (ex : poignée de porte cassée qui ne nécessite qu'une vis pour être remise en place) même si la propreté était globalement satisfaisante. A ce niveau de prix, on s'attend à un équipement moins "daté" et mieux entretenu.
