“More than 600 CHF a night for worse than three star hotel condition. Room was big, but not even basic amenities were available such as tooth paste. Breakfast was simple but ok. The receptionist in the morning was impolite and ignoring. In gernetal, an overpriced but outdated hotel with insufficient staff”
“Perfect & always timely service (great personell who does make the difference - thanks for having us!), friendly service, totally relaxed atmosphere, quiet place to chill with a great spa and with a really nice & quite fancy restaurant (Leonard's). Great food but not cheap. Walking distance (3-4' or so) to the heart of Gstaad and to the train station.
Not much more you can ask for ;-)”
“Bad
Japanese restaurant is a rip off and sushi is bad.
Staff appear to be friendly but it’s all just pretense and are not as helpful as they claim to be.
Breakfast isn’t great either. Took 20 mins for fried eggs to arrive and don’t even have sausage on the menu.”
“Very much a vintage hotel experience. I had an excellent mountain view, which I was able to enjoy from bed every morning. The cleaning crew were efficient and very good. The staff was very helpful with planning alternative hikes. I chose to walk the 800m from the train station, which for me was very doable. "During my stay, I lost my backbag in the bus. Fortunately, the staff of Trlala hotel enthusiastically and patiently dealt with the communication and the contact with the bus staff. Luckily, Tralala successfully got the news that my backbag was found and immediately told me how to go to the bus office to get it back. Appreciate the staff. Thanks a lot. "
