The fields that surround the holiday home are cultivated with traditional products belonging to the Sierra de las Nieves, which was declared Natural Park and Biosphere Reserve by the UNESCO. These fields produce organic fruits and vegetables in an eco-friendly environment. Among them, almonds, olives, figs, grapes, avocados and mangoes colour the surrounding landscapes throughout the year. The house is designed in a rustic style, uniquely decorated with handcrafted wood and different types of stones, which harmoniously integrate both inside and outside the holiday home. The two-storey house can accommodate up to four people. There are two spacious bedrooms, each with a double bed. The bedroom on the first floor also features an en-suite with shower. Another bathroom with shower is available in the house. The accommodation is equipped with warm/cool air-con in the living room and bedrooms. The fully-equipped open kitchen is provided with a large fridge, an oven, and washing machine. The whole villa is provided with WI-FI and a satellite TV is located in the living area. The access to the house is completely paved. We got there and immediately realised the pictures were nothing like they are on the website. I’m disabled, my 9 month old son has a disability and the main issues we had was the poolWasn’t a pool and wasn’t filtered so it had hundreds of wasps in at all times. The pool isn’t in a ‘garden’ as there isn’t one. It’s up a rocky incline 60 metres away. The air con doesn’t work in the bedrooms so it’s boiling and wasn’t cool enough for my baby. I told the host this and did nothing and said to contact ruralidays. They ignored me, I left voicemails crying begging for them to move us somewhere else or refund us. They said we didn’t qualify for a reason to move even though the aircon wasn’t working, we couldn’t use the pool because it was advertised as being accessible outside. They offered us 1000 euros for a 9 night stay, so 50% back after staying there for less than 24 hours. The company was vile. The host was rude. They ignored me and my husband. Hung up on us. Refused to help. You have to pay a deposit then give the rest in cash. Just don’t stay here. The bedsheet was filthy. Pictures show a completely different house. Ants were all over the kitchen. It doesn’t have an ‘oven’. Or a ‘bbq’. Never experienced such discrimination from a company. They literally laughed in my face and the head of customer services. We left because it wasn’t physically suitable for us. We had to leave. But the way they went about it was disgusting. The host was lovely and he showed us around the cottage and explained everything in details. You can tell he takes a great pride in his property. The pool was lovely and it had a great location up on a hill, in the sun all day. The kitchen was well equipped, it had a massive fridge/freezer and all the essentials for prepping meals. We would highly recommend.
