Away from the hussle and busy Echuca can be this time of the year. Great little town with a few gems. The Ridge was in a perfect location, peaceful and quiet with all the farm land around you. The house has great Amenities, I love cooking and the kitchen was a treat to use. Fabulous outdoor kitchen too right next to the Basketball court and archery. We also had full access to some kiyaks. So much fun. Sean the owner was so accommodating, and great communication. The house is bright, with a relaxed vibe that has everything you need. Comfy beds and an amazing swivel chair in the living room. The grounds were well maintained with secure fencing for children and dogs. The basketball court, archery and having the river across the road to fish means you can park the car and disconnect and relax. Sean was great to communicate with and checkin was easy. The dogs could be let off and out of the house without a worry which abundance of space for them. Quiet and peaceful. I could go on and on. You get the picture! This hidden gem doesn’t miss anything. A very modern home, built superbly. Every modern comfort you need is there. Even electric car charger wow. Everything was super comfy from the beds with beautiful linen to the furnishings that where super comfy. Was so warm with the lovely heating. Electric blankets on the beds. It was everything we needed to reboot and refresh the mind. Mum loved sitting outside in the morning watching the sun break across the murray river and the fog lift up, such a pretty sight. Our furbaby was so happy, with the absolutely secured yard, she ran and ran, loved the cows coming up every evening on the otherside of the fence, so funny. I didn't need to stress about her safety either which was great. Communication with sean was on point, quick to reply and nothing he wouldn't accomodate. I highly recommend this stay. We stayed 5 nights. Very spacious, very clean, and river just over the road if you like fishing. Our doggies had a great time with the cows behind the fence, left them worn out! Only down side were all the flies and bugs outside.
