“We had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend at the Northwoods cabin! The neighborhood surrounding the cabin was quiet and peaceful so I took advantage of that and went for many walks!Additionally my kids kayaked and paddle boarded in the lake in the backyard. Luckily there was a boat rental, and we were able to rent a pontoon for the day! We had beautiful weather and were able to check out the chain of lakes. “ We came up from Kansas City and stayed Sunday to Saturday. Everything we needed for our vacation! The bed was comfortable, the AC and heat worked great. When we wanted to watch the Royals post season game, we grabbed our laptop and watched out at the campfire. Wifi Signal was great. Did some fishing. The lake was nice and calm. “This lovely cottage is all that was promised. We were looking for a quiet place to get away for a few nights and we were not disappointed. Beautifully designed and thoughtfully appointed, we really enjoyed just relaxing, reading and reconnecting. The fire pit was a nice addition to be able to star-gaze by. We’ve stayed all over the world and this may be the cleanest home we’re rented. Bed and linens were top notch and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook. Highly recommended.”
