"Beautifully decorated barn-type house. Trails through wildflowers and trees. Big fire-pit with loads of wood to burn. Front porch full of rocking chairs, so peaceful; tons of bedrooms; a pool table, games & puzzles for rainy days. There were 10 of us, plenty of room for everyone. It was a great stay - thanks John!"

"We arrived at the hotel and was greeted by Ryan in housekeeping. He was so friendly and accommodating. The manager wasn’t there but that was ok. The bed was comfortable to sleep in and the bedding was very clean. We did not eat at the restaurant or the continental breakfast but overall it was a pleasurable experience. "

Since the change, on my most recent stay, I noticed the facility is cleaner and on numerous occasions I saw the staff making improvements. The staff is friendly and respectful. There is also now a continental breakfast included in the room price."

"We are huge fans of Abby Shores. Two days of rain didn’t limit our fun. The day with sun was certainly a blast with the expansive yard and lake access, and all the watercraft options. On the rainy days, a combination of our own favorite games and those supplied kept us happy and busy. You get a great balance of privacy, the feeling of being quite a bit farther up north, and also close enough access to town and local bars. The new Yoders Amish grocery eight-ten minutes away is a great stop for most pantry needs."
