"Lovely place to stay, beach perfect for the dogs and people all very friendly. Accommodation good, could have been much better with a welcome pack! The steps were a challenge, I consider myself quite fit but 74steps to climb with luggage not easy, added to which my husband scraped his car on the hand rail while trying to park on the tricky slope. The views were amazing from the deck as expected."

House is exactly as shown in the pics - immaculate -- with unexpected beautiful views from not only the family room (with huge expanse of glass including out onto the patio) but also from the master and from the kitchen. Although small ( or compact ), the house came with the mod cons we required. "This was a lovely old stone cottage connected to others on a fairly steep, narrow road. We had some difficulty finding it, but a lovely employee at the Fore 2 Restaurant guided us. "What a gem The Laurels is. We enjoyed a long weekend at the cottage and had everything we needed. Lovely welcome package to arrive to after a long drive and lots of information about what to visit in the area. Beds were very comfortable and everywhere was spotlessly clean. "The location was superb, room fantastic view however the hotel inside needs some tlc. The carpet inside the lift was worn, the dining room ceiling was patched up; in my room the tiles surrounding the bath needed re grouting, the wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling away in the corners and the furniture in my bedroom was shabby and required revarnishing and the paintwork in my room needed touching up and the window frames needed cleaning.
