“We just enjoyed the best two nights here! We loved learning about the history of the Inn and the place is so well preserved. The innkeeper and chef were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was so delicious both mornings. The location was great as well. Almost everywhere we wanted to go regardless of the direction was 15-20 minutes away. “Very pet friendly, which is important to us, given that we have two dogs. Alan Webb, the host, has a cockatoo, which the dogs loved and which we loved also. Good proximity to the Skyline Drive, Charlottesville, and the White Oak Canyon trail in the Shenandoah National Park. Good breakfasts and good amenities in the room, with Keurig coffee maker, flat screen tv with streaming, and good wi-fi.”
