The room was clean and comfortable, however very basic. No frills. We did enjoy the extra space. The floor above was squeaky so when other guests were awake, it was difficult to sleep.
I would recommend the Oakhurst Inn's convenience to the University of VA. With accommodations so tight in Charlottesville, the Oakhurst provides a better stay for the price than many of the other hotels.
