  • "I still believe in a place called Hope" - President Bill Clinton The Clinton Birthplace Foundation, Inc. preserved the two and one-half story frame house as Bill Clinton’s 1st Home Museum. The home has deep projecting eaves and a broad one-story hipped roof porch on the front. Its style is American foursquare, so called because of its square floor plan. There are many foursquare houses in towns and cities across the country, most built during the early years of the 20th century. The Clinton house dates from 1917. The Cassidy family moved into the home in 1938, when Clinton's mother, Virginia, was in high school, and purchased the house in 1946. The restored interior still has much of its original detail, including the staircase in the living room, with its turned balusters and massive, paneled newel post. A small pantry features built-in cupboards. Virtually all of the second floor finishes are original, including the flooring and the beaded board in the hallway and nursery. The room was very clean. The customer service was great, just a little hard to understand everything that was said. They only had coffee, apple and orange juice, bananas, and apples for breakfast one day, and the next was donuts from a donut shop. Everything was fresh and tasty.

Well I wish I could say I actually stayed here for the night, but I didn’t. We booked this because we were seeing the drag races well they got rained out, so there was know need to stay. We drive back home. Wast of money down the drain because of the rain. Clean and staff friendly

Plenty of well lit parking for truck and trailer. Property and room were clean, just a little dated. The young lady that checked me in was very pleasant, courteous and attentive. Would definitely stay here again.

Ok stay.

Lots of signs talking of breakfast hours but when I showed up the desk clerk said coffee was all they had. None in rooms but one pot in the lobby. There was only one bath and one hand towel in the room, but no washcloth. My room had a jacuzzi tub, but no drain plug for the tub and the electric power to the tub appeared to be disconnected. Bed was big, pillows were good and linens were clean.

Its was okay. The prices are good (booked through expedia). AC was great the first night, they did room service and "locked" it so it wouldnt go down pasted 70...i didnt care for that. Room service came by the second morning at 9:00, knocked twice then tried to let himself in...had to holla at him not to come in before he let himself in. Room was clean though. Typical motel stay

The overnight staff was great. The cleaning staff are not good. The room was dirty. There were stains, a few bugs, etc. They also have an extremely odd policy of where your door key stops working BEFORE your checkout time and they refuse to give you a new one / turn back on. Instead they just offer to go unlock your door for you rather than giving you free access to your room.
