"Takarazuka Hotel looks like an estate in Europe, fitting in with the Takarazuka atmosphere. I loved just being in the hotel no matter what I was doing.
The breakfast buffet was lovely."

"Everything is perfectly perfect except they don’t keep luggage after checking out. I have never seen hotels that have no service for it. It’s awful. "

"Staff and service are impeccable. They can pretty much read your mind and are prepared for your question before you even ask. Really helps with the language barrier. The ac/heat ductless units did smell a bit. Odor is probably from the mineral springs. "
"Amazing location, price and staff. I know a little bit of Japanese so that helped, but they have a book for non-Japanese speakers! If you’re visiting, just please be respectful of their rules. I would definitely come back and recommend to everyone!"
"The hotel is nicely decorated. Our indoor hot spring bath is nicely arranged. Dinner was delicious. Certainly, few more or a larger piece of wagyu beef will be great. Breakfast has lots of variety. "
"Amazing stay! Hotel staff very communicative, the ryokan room was beautiful and the private onsen was sooooo nice. Breakfast in the ryokan was delicious too! There is a shuttle bus that can take you to the main area as the ryokan is up a steep slope. "
"We love the Arima Onsen Hanano Ryokan. They picked us up at the train station and even carried our bags up to store our luggage. Yes, getting to the inn meant climbing up some stairs. This might be a problem for some people with mobility issues. But the climb was all worth it because the service was impeccable, the hotel was exceptionally clean and the room was spacious. For such a minimalistic inn, it has everything we needed and more. This inn is traditionally Japanese with modern facilities. It is fully renovated and tastefully adorned with ikebana flower arrangements. Our Kaiseki meal was very good and healthy. Our main dish was Kobe Beef which we cooked on a small grill ourselves. It was of very good quality, probably A5 grade. Our breakfast was also healthy. We had a private onsen in our room so we enjoyed soaking in it even more. We also tried the hotel's public onsen and it was also awesome. I am glad I chose this type of accomodation. It was one true onsen experience. There is only one issue, the staff barely spoke English. We could not understand them very well so there were some things that we were unclear. We missed wearing the Yukata for most of our stay because it was not explained very well what should be done or where we can wear it. Other than that, everything was perfect. If you want true Japanese onsen and kaiseki experience at a ryokan, then this type of accomodation is for you. If not, then you can book at the big hotels in the area."
