"Lovely, cosy hotel in a picturesque area. Every member of staff was pleasant, friendly and helpful. The food was superb, and not overly priced for such a beautiful place. Our room - no. 3 - was spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed. We had two nights here, just as a little break away for me and my husband. We both said we would love to go back. There's some beautiful walks, nature reserves, etc in and around Colne, so the Alma will be a great base. "

"Very clean room with an amazing view. Right on the river and over the bridge is straight into town. Loved the balcony bar, drinks were a little expensive in hotel but the view made up for it. Pool and hot tub were very clean a little dated but didn’t matter. Bed was so so comfy and room was always warm and very Cosy. Reception staff always there for anything needed. Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough and will definitely be back "

"Everything was lovely but it states there is a jacuzzi and swimming pool which you have to pre book and the sauna etc..is over the other park so be warned you need to book ahead and take a towel ."
