“Amazing stay. Beautiful accommodation. Cannot wait to return.”

“The property is small but clean and modern. It's located behind a pub which makes the location good. We stayed in the same cottage last November and everything was good, however, this time was has not good. On the first evening we found the cottage very cold. We tried altering the thermostat but no good. We had to wrap towels around us to keep warm. I sent an email to the owner but had no reply. Tried ringing him twice but it rang out. Left messages on his phone but no response. Decided to send……

“It was not what was on the website when we arrived there was no one to meet us to say which cottage we were staying in I tried calling but no one replied I phone a number that was on a van parked in the carpark who then got in touch the with the gentleman who runs the cottage’s we should of entered at 3:00pm but didn’t get in till 5:00pm I was told I had been sent a message with the code at 09:00 which I never received”

“Lovely few days away. Great cottage perfect for what we wanted. The pub in the village is perfect for a pint or two. Cottage very clean and comfortable, garden perfect for the dog.”

“Bathroom not suitable, picture on advert needs updating to show true size not just the top of the toilet, cottage fine no problems ”

“A haven of tranquility. A delightful spot. Warm first day, cool and wet day 2 but plug in radiator more than adequate. Cooker, simple to use, good instructions, perfect for 2 breakfasts and 2 evening meals. Wet room ideal, bed very comfortable.”

“Really well placed for shops and pubs/restaurants etc., whilst still on a quiet enough residential street. After a very long journey in the heat really didn't want to get the car out again and was able to walk to the Tesco Express and back in less than ten minutes. Check-in and communication with host was great - we phoned twice and the call was answered immediately both times. We were put into a different house on arrival to what we'd expected but this was no problem and probably better than……

“Fabulous accommodation in a lovely setting on a very quiet and well-maintained farm. Very spacious for 2 people, spotlessly clean and comfortable bed. Great to have chickens and goats right in front of the property. Shirley was the perfect host, very friendly and helpful, and we loved the welcome gifts. Very dog-friendly with easy walking along a bridleway and the added bonus of a secure field to loose dogs in too. Would definitely recommend this property.”
