"The staff here are exceptional and really do everything they can to make you feel welcome and to help you. Really lovely rooms, very clean and quality throughout. The bedding and beds, the towels, the Cowshed toiletries, everything is beautiful. In a lovely quiet area but within easy reach of the mad party atmosphere if that's what you want. Walkable distance to Brighton, I did it myself, but also buses around to take you. Plenty of restaurants up the road. A great place to stay. Extras in the room include a DAB radio, Iplayer on the TV, aircon, safe, minibar, coffee machine as well as the kettle, and a lovely big shower. Highly recommended. "

"When we checked in the desk person not friendly. The rest of the staff especially the cafe and bar area were very helpful and friendly. Two of the rooms were very nice, our room was clean but worn."

"Being an older building it has it's quirks which add to the charm. The hotel is across from the beach and an easy walk to shopping and restaurants. Recommend the breakfast and the staff were friendly and helpful."

"Absolutely loved the hotel. Had a loto hiccup with the room but the hotel did a great job remedying the issue and all of the staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend and I have stayed at a ton of hotels and the staff at the Grand were probably some of the best I have encountered."
