"Charming, rustic property. Very clean and well stocked with kitchen supplies. Fireplace heats the house very well. We didn't need baseboard heat (or we could have skipped the fire). Loved the sauna. So happy to not have access to WiFi. Comfy beds. Awesome hosts. -- responded quickly to a question and were very friendly. Loved the sounds of frogs and birds, and the stars were beautiful."

"This was our 5th year to Wilderness Wind and it was absolutely beautiful and amazing as per usual. Jay is awesome and Lulu is a great greeter! We stayed in Moose and loved every minute. Everything was clean and organized. We leave little trinkets hidden in the cabin every year, it's fun to see them moved to different spots☺️. We will definitely be back next year!!"

"Had a wonderful annual holiday with friends. If we weren’t hoping to add another couple next year we would book same again but we need a second shower with more people. The house is spacious and homey and kitchen had everything we needed to cook fish all week. Docks are well maintained and porch and fire pit area were well- enjoyed. We even took the kayak and paddle board for a spin. It was really hard to leave!"

"Our second Christmas at this cabin! We brought our tree, lights, presents, and enough food to last us several days. Because there was no snow and we found slushy ice on Gegoka, we drove to nearby hiking trails—all lovely. The kitchen is well-provisioned with spices, herbs, pots and pans and the bookshelves are loaded with terrific wildlife resource books. This cabin has one of the best wood stoves we’ve experienced. Despite gloomy, rainy days, we had a good stay!"

"We had a wonderful stay at this relaxing retreat! We loved the lake view and all the amenities (paddle boards, comic book collection, sauna, gas grill, spacious kitchen, and large farm table for gathering to playing cards). Being a group that loves to cook together in the kitchen, the selection of kettles was a tad limited and a few 3 - 4 qt pots would be nice :). We would definitely recommend this place to others who might enjoy a quite scenic lake stay in Northern MN."

"My 2 teen age grandsons (14 & 17) made our 2nd annual grouse hunting trip to Northern MN. Despite rainy conditions, they had a great time, bringing 8 ruffed grouse back to Blaine, MN to share with family! Yum! Cabin was just as listed in VRBO—older but clean, comfortable beds, nice appliances. Owners pleasant and helpful. Thank you!"

"We had a wonderful stay with our two grandchildren. Since another family member was staying at one of the lakeside cabins, we really appreciated the Chickadee Landing gazebo as a central place for meals. The beach was the highlight for the boys."
