"The property was everything we wanted and needed for our time "up north". The lake was beautiful. We even saw the Northern lights! The area was quiet and the location convenient to Tower or Ely. "The location of this property is gorgeous and the home is reasonably comfortable. If you want a multi-generational group to gather here the owners need to address window coverings, especially in the one bathroom that has a shower that does not leak through the floor into the kitchen. Having grandchildren playing on the deck, with sliding glass door viewing into the shower, is not ideal. We read the reviews and brought our own curtain to cover the window. "We brought our Girl Scout troop to stay for the weekend. Cute place, great layout. Couple of the beds were not quite what we expected (twin futons in loft) but over all it was great for the # we had. Girls loved having a room to themselves and the board games were a hit. Nice room outside for yard games and sitting by the fire. "

"The location was gorgeous--up a steep but sturdy LONG staircase from the lake. We went mostly to be on the water. My husband rented a boat from a nearby resort and we were allowed to tie it up to our dock and keep it for the days we were there. NOTE: The dock system is NOT complete and tying up there was NOT easy, but we figured out a way. We rented a canoe from the same resort and also kept it there--there was a nice (very) little sandy beach to beach it on. Good point for all water...

"….and that’s exactly what we did! Our stay was better than hoped in celebrating my birthday. My fiance took me to a place he described as majestic and that it is. We could have stayed in town but the true experience of Ely was here. The sunrise and sunset out our window was magnificent! Living of the needs in life made it that more memorable.
