“We had a great stay at Dan's cabin! It's a real log cabin and much larger and nicer than even the pictures suggest. We enjoyed the peacefulness of our stay in the woods. It was a lovely drive back into the property, and the water front didn't disappoint! My son and I found a baby painted turtle and a frog. He fished and caught a sunfish. We swam and explored. “Just the fact that it is 1930s vintage says a lot. Check-in and directions super easy. There was a surprise batch of cookies and a fireplace starter which were both delightful. Kitchen and bathrooms were well-stocked. Bedrooms very small but the outside front porch, back porch and yard provided cool places to relax and unwind. Near-by Usher Park a perfect place for small children. ”

If left open to bed, not much room during the day with kitchen so close. The drive to the lake was short and very nice. Lots of places to eat in the area. Great shops in area.
