Cozy 2 BR Attached Apt On The Huntington River

A spacious, clean, cozy two-bedroom apartment with the river in the backyard. Very close to tons of hiking and biking trails, and Bolton Valley Mountain. Thirty minutes from Burlington. About 25 minutes to UVM Medical Center, 50 minutes from Porter Hospital.

Sleeps up to four. Open floor plan kitchen and living area. Full, brand new kitchen. Deck in the backyard for you, and access to the river.

This apartment is the in-law-suite attached to our main house on the lower floor of a split-level. We are a family of four living upstairs. Private entrance and two guest parking spots.

Tranquil Riverside Retreat in Picturesque Vermont
My stay at this Vermont VRBO by the river was simply wonderful. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The best part was definitely the river just outside - it was so relaxing to sit on the deck and listen to the water flowing by. The location was great for exploring Vermont, and the hosts were friendly and helpful. I had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

Gui and Liz are wonderful hosts! They are very warm and friendly and keep the apartment in great shape. The location is amazing- if you stay here, make sure to take advantage of all the trails and the river in the back. The apartment is very warm and inviting, and is a great place to stay. My wife and i are already planning on returning as soon as we can.

Quiet, private lovely!
Hosts Gui and Liz are wonderful and attentive. The apartment was spacious and had everything we needed. Everything was very clean, lots of towels, and views of the river were just beautiful. It was a great home away from home while we attended a family wedding.

Perfect getaway!
This property was awesome!! Super comfortable and everything was very well provided. Gui and Liz were great and were always easy to reach with any questions! The area is super quiet as well with a lot of great local spots for food not too far away. Perfect fit for anyone wanting some peace and quiet!

Clean apartment, unkept property
The apartment was cute and overall clean. The location was nice, close to many trails. Gui was really friendly and got back to us immediately when we couldn't figure out the shower! The property and neighborhood are a bit unkept, and as stated in other reviews it is a bit noisy. You can hear the owners upstairs and the sump pump runs a lot.

A Perfect Retreat
After having spent multiple nights in hotel rooms during a lengthy road trip, we were thrilled to stay in this spacious two-bedroom apartment. The location was great for us as we had family nearby and the apartment was clean and contained everything we could possibly need. Comfortable, convenient spot
This apartment was perfect for us when we visited family near by for a celebration and needed some extra space. It’s clean and comfortable, not fancy, and has a great location right on the river and very near the nice town of Richmond. It’s also close to lots of great hiking trails. The hosts were helpful, communicative, and nice. We couldn’t have asked for more.

What a beautiful property! My 13 month old loved walking all over the huge back yard and checking out the river. It felt like we were in a painting! The owners are friendly and welcoming.

Clean with peaceful and convenient location
We chose this property for this location which is excellent: close to Burlington, Montpelier, Bolton Valley skiing and not far from Stowe and the Mad River Valley. It is very clean with a well-appointed kitchen. The beds and pillows are reasonably comfortable; the shower is good with plenty of towels. There are some things they can't do anything about but are still drawbacks: you can hear them upstairs since it's a basement apartment, and the furnace/utilities closet is right next to one of the bedrooms. We found the equipment to be noisy at all hours of the day and night, and also noticed the unpleasant smell of fuel burning. In terms of what they could do to improve, the loveseat in the living is quite uncomfortable and there are no lamps in the living room or one of the bedrooms so you have to use the bright overhead light to read or talk. Also, since they have you remove the sheets before you leave for the laundry, it was unfortunate to notice there are no pillow protectors and the mattress in at least one bedroom had many large stains and discolorations and no mattress cover. Finally, the water gets VERY hot. My daughter scalded her hand in the kitchen tap. I would definitely recommend they turn down the temperature setting on the hot water heater.

Great little place on the river!
Great location for our weekend skiing at Bolton Valley. It would have been amazing if we had a little more time to spend at Sleepy Hollow. Nicely appointed kitchen, the beds were comfy, plenty of hot water, and communication with the host was excellent. The mechanics of the house were a little loud as they were on the same level as this unit.

We love Vermont. To be away from the busy, slow down, enjoy a fire and wonder if a critter will join in. There’s plenty of room, cute kitchen and lots of outdoor quiet. The couple above are genuinely eager to ensure their guests are happy and you have a wonderful time.

Walk out lower half of the house. The river behind is absolutely beautiful. Would be great for kids in the summer. Beautiful to sit and have morning coffee on the bank. Full kitchen. One bed is a futon like mattress and the other is passable. It was a cozy pleasant place to stay. I had a reading at the sleepy hollow in. Just a few miles away so perfect for me. Communication and help from the hosts was great.

The property sits in a beautiful part of Vermont. Gorgeous views, great hosts, quiet area. Great hikes, beautiful weather! The hosts were gratefully quiet, as all noises could be heard staying on the ground level of a split level.

Hosts were great, very friendly and gave lots of suggestions of places to eat and things to see. The location is a little remote, but only 30 minutes from Burlington and 20 minutes from Waterbury-Stow, both places that I was visiting while I was here. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

A lot of amenities. Well stocked VRBO. Super nice owners. They have a cat that has been in the property - I am allergic to cats and needed to take allergy medicine. Not a deal breaker by any means - just good to have know before hand.

In town for a wedding - the place was everything we needed! Conveniently located about 25 mins from Burlington, it was easy to get everywhere we needed to be. Good sized bedrooms and living room/kitchen, and included private access to laundry machines which was great. Nice backyard with access to a small river as well.

Vermont Grand Fondo
We were traveling from Connecticut and needed a place to base our participation in a local bike race. The hosts were very friendly and the location was quite spectacular, adjacent to the river. The community is quite rural but close to Burlington and many local restaurants and pubs. We had a great time.
