"This stay was part of a long vacation with many different hotels. Mill Park was in our top two favorite places that we stayed in Ireland. Exceeded our expectations. We would absolutely stay again. "

"Room was quiet, clean, comfortable, pleasant and well-equipped. The unattended checkin via key app was fantastic despite my initial reservations about how that would work out. There were only two drawbacks. There were several flights of stairs to reach the room, which was in the attic. (This is something I would expect in an authentic inn like this one.) And I'm not yet a convert to the "entire bathroom as shower stall" design. I showered when I arrived there in the late afternoon, and by the morning the bathroom floor still had numerous little puddles on it, forcing me to dry it with my towel before I could use the toilet, sink and mirror. Were it my choice I would add a simple, easily washable shower curtain to the design. Puddles and stairs aside, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Donegal House, wished I'd had another night or two there and intend to book it again in the future."

"The room was a bit dark but perfectly adequate and had all the usual amenities-tea/coffee facilities, hairdryer, water and toiletries. The atmosphere and decor in the bar was really great and the food was exceptional-this is what you should come for!"
