Ideally placed for visit to Donegal

Easy to park and short walk into town. Great breakfast if you want it. Some minor maintenance issues need sorting. Would stay here again.

Great location for a lovely town

This hotel is in a great location. The town of Donegal is quite lovely and very easy to walk in. I was driving throughout Ireland (over 900 miles on the trip), and this hotel was easy to find, had free parking, and was a eight minute walk from the center of the town.

We stayed at the Gateway Lodge in Donegal during our travels in Ireland. The onsite parking was convenient and easily accessible. Hotel is just a short walk to town with several dinner options. We ate at The Olde Castle Bar - seafood was fantastic! Donegal castle is just a few min walk from the hotel!
