2024 spring break
This was our first visit to the Big Island. The property manager responded to my question regarding snorkeling gears promptly. It was easy to get to the property from the airport. The property was very clean and well equipped for our needs. There were welcome gifts of local beer and snacks! We enjoyed Kona coffee provided as well. We used and felt grateful for the snorkeling gears, the beach chairs & umbrella, the mineral sunscreen spray, and the aloe gel. The in-unit washer & dryer were very convenient. The ceiling fan and the AC units worked well. Oh, and the property is a mere 10-minute walk away from the Kona Pier, where the Ironman swimming leg starts. It’s also close to shops, eats, and markets. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Perfect place.
This property has it all! Kitchen pantry, bathroom items, books/games, computer cords, large deck. Close distance to the restaurants, beach, pool, but still quiet as it’s off the road. Perfect place for triathletes, small active families, work-cations.

Outstanding Property-Very Nice
The check-in process was very simple, with clear instructions. The very minor questions we had about a couple of items were responded to very quickly and clearly by the owner, either by text or phone call. The unit was spotless and everything one needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay was made available or could be gotten very close by at two major shopping centers. Many restaurants, pubs and the beach area were minutes away. Access to the Ring Road to get to all the other sights on the island was very close. The airport was only 15 minutes away. We have stayed at many properties in the US and all over Europe in in the past 20+ years and this condo was the best. Highly recommend this unit.

Great location for almost everything
The property is excellently located for walking into town as well as for getting supplies. It provides many of the “little necessities” that one finds at home. The access to the highway was easy. The contact people were very responsive and helpful. If we were to come here again, we would definitely check to see if this place were available.

This condo has everything you can possibly need and the hosts are extremely nice to share their home with you. It has a full kitchen with spices, cooking oil, you name it, they have it. It has snorkle equipments, beach embrella and chair... The condo community has a swimming pool too. The condo is also very quiet, no traffic, in a community where quiet hours are from 10-7, so we've had 7 nights of good sleep. Location is walking distance (9 minutes) to downtown Kona and beach. We've had a great time. Some people found it hard to find this condo but we found it pretty easily. Just zig-zag through the parking lot to the swimming pool and the condo entrance is on the other side. If you walk to downtown and back, follow the pretty and shaded entrance road straight out and in.

Great place to work remotely from the Big Island
We had a great time working remotely (we are from the SF Bay Area) for a week at Sita and Anoop's condo! We felt welcome and at home. We were close to many snorkeling areas and also close to many breweries and restaurants in Kona - sometimes at a walking distance! Thank you Sita and Anoop for having us at your place!

Lovely small place in convenient location
Condo was very clean and well-updated; had everything we needed for our stay. It was really nice to be able to sit out on the balcony, and the beach items provided were very handy. Property was quiet and it was easy to walk to things in downtown Kailua-Kona, and convenient to airport and highway as well. Owners were responsive and explained well how to find the unit, where to park, etc.

Serene Kona lived up to its name, the perfect place for my daughter and me to stay for our week-long Big Island experience. We appreciated the quiet, private location tucked away near the pool, while also being able to easily access everything Kona has to offer - beaches, restaurants, shops. Our first impression when we walked in was: "It is so clean and inviting! " This was a wonderful home base for our daytrips to scuba dive, snorkel, and hike. Sita thought of everything we might need or wish for- including local treats like Kona coffee, a well-stocked kitchen for preparing our meals, nice snorkeling gear, beach towels and chairs, and a cooler. Each morning we enjoyed our delicious coffee and breakfast on our private lanai. We packed lightly so it was great to have a washer and dryer. It was an ideal home base for our adventures, and just wish we could have stayed longer.

Great location, wonderful stay
We were glad to find this property amidst super expensive hotels during Christmas. Great little condo w helpful amenities to explore big island. Location was great being walkable to shops and restaurants since we didn’t have a car the first night. Host was helpful and kind and included little nice touches to welcome us. Only drawback was the unit was difficult to find at night and a map of the complex would’ve been helpful since directions were a little hard to follow.

Perfect condo for my stay in Kona
The condo was exactly as advertised and reading the prior reviews helped solidify my decision to rent for a week. The condo is nicely appointed and had all of the amenities to make my stay a very relaxing and pleasant one. The owners were in contact with me before and during my trip and were available to answer any questions. The location is close to restaurants, shopping, grocery stores, the ocean and Kailua Bay (where you can exercise swim safely with the locals). As a single female traveler I felt very safe in this condo community, neighborhood and in the condo itself. I had a red eye flight out of Kona as was afforded a late check out because they hadn't rented the condo the next day. This generosity basically bought me an extra day in Hawaii for which I am very grateful.

Kailua Bay Condo
The condo was located in a very convenient place-close to downtown Kailua. It was quiet and peaceful. Very nice pool! We did have problems locating our particular condo and were lucky that the cleaning lady noticed and came to our aid.
