Very courteous staff. Basic rooms for a good price

Nice central location a little noisy being down on the main drag, but overall good experience!

Rooms were very clean. We arrived in Sitka early and they accommodated us with early check in. They also have a very convenient locked area to store your luggage if you do have any layovers during your trip. Staff always so polite. Was within walking distance of several restaurants, grocery store and the Totem National Park. Only negative is the drapes in the rooms could use upgraded. We were there in June when there is 19 hrs of daylight so dark out window treatments would have made our stay perfect.

The front desk was super slow and I agree with a previous review that said the staff”bumbled around”. The bathroom had a new tub and was pretty clean. We learned that daily cleaning of the room was not an option and if you wanted fresh towels and additional coffee pods(that tasted like mud puddle water) you had to ask at the front desk and wait for them. Also There was very little light in the room- only one light next to the queen size bed. The bed had a weird attachment at the end with drawers in it that stuck out in the foot space. The unit had a small refrigerator and a cook top and micro wave. The TV did not work.

We were in Sitka for a week visiting our daughter. We were given Room #1. This is right across from the bar/restaurant which was busy and noisy until late. The room is also on the entrance to the charter boats. At 4:50am the fisherman come through and at talking about their fishing trip they're about to go on and are not quiet. We complained and they did move us to Room #8 on the third floor. Much quieter. TV sucks. It would loss connect about every 5-10 minutes so impossible to use. Parking lot is very small and tight. People coming to the restaurant and going fishing use up the spaces and don't leave room for the people staying there. We do not recommend this place unless you are taking a fishing charter.
