Condo in River Run Only a Short Walk to Gondola, Shops and Dining!

  • This 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom corner unit condo sleeps 6 with one king bed, one queen bed and one sleeper sofa. It features beautiful treed views and the corner unit location ensures a quiet stay. Ideally located in River Run Village so you’re just steps away from shopping, restaurants and local festivities. Plus, guests can walk to the high-speed gondola. Red Hawk Lodge offers shared amenities including an outdoor pool and two hot tubs.

    The entryway has mounted hooks and a bench for your convenience while coming and going throughout the day. The living area is warm and inviting and features a flat screen TV mounted above a beautiful gas fireplace and a queen-sized sleeper sofa. Additional linens are in a closet. The private balcony is just off the living area and offers treed views.

    The full-sized kitchen is stocked with all the essential cookware and tableware to make a meal away from home and the dining area comfortably seats four. The first of two full bathrooms is just off of the living area and has a pedestal sink and shower/tub combination. All bathrooms are stocked with towels and an initial supply of toiletries.

    The primary suite features a king-sized bed on our Ivory White Bedding program, a mounted flat screen TV and beautiful views from two windows. The en suite bathroom has double sinks and a door separates the shower/tub combination and toilet area for added privacy. The guest bedroom has a queen-sized bed on our Ivory White Bedding program and a mounted flat screen TV. Offering added convenience, both beds have been elevated to allow for extra storage.

    Please note: To reserve this property, the reservation holder must be at least 24 years old at the time of booking.

    (For additional sleeping options, air mattresses are available upon request for a small fee.)

Spacious condo in quiet section of complex with easy parking proximity

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was clean and their was easy access to underground parking elevator, ski lockers, lifts and the square.

Amazing location

Stayed here for a few days with some friends for a ski trip and this place was amazing! The location was maybe a 2 minute walk to the main gondola and village. Space was clean and had the essentials.

Great Location

Plenty of room for my family of 5 with 3 teenagers. Included all of the necessary amenities. Easy walk to the gondola. It was nice to have the parking garage so vehicles are out of the weather.

Close to gondola, clean, provides all basic necessities

This was a good location and priced well for what it offers. It has all the basic needs, comfortable beds. There could be some updates to make it nicer (especially if you like to cook) and more comfortable, but everything works as expected.

short and sweet stay

We stayed at River Run condo for two days, when skiing at Keystone. The property has great location, 3 minute walking from gondola. Condo is clean and spacious, kitchen is well stocked. There are covered parking garage in the basement, ski lockers, game area in the lobby, and laundry facilities on all floors. Would recommend for family vacation at Keystone resort.

Walk to gondola lift

Overall good value and great access. Handy parking under property, walk to gondola lift, the furniture is a little dated and the space is a little cramped for 5. Could use some more hooks to hang clothes etc. in bathroom and bedroom, maybe loose the game cabinet in living area and rethink the dining table to give more open area.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I came to enjoy a few days in the mountain area. We found this condo to be a very nice option. The condo was as described, although the furniture is updated. The layout worked well esp for just the two of us. The only thing I would recommend would be to bring some cooking spray if you plan on cooking in.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this unit for a short stay in the mountains for a summer getaway. The property was in a great location and we were able to walk around River Run and access the bike trails easily. The unit was clean enough (hair still in the bathtub) but the heating was still turned on which made it very hot in the unit. Fortunately, fans were provided and we contacted the management company about the thermostat/heating issue and was remedied within a day or so. Comfortable beds and furniture and a well-stocked kitchen with dining ware, although little space for your groceries. In all, it was very comfortable for our party of 3, and I would recommend it to others.

The unit is a bit outdated and there were a few maintenance issues such the windows not working properly and the closet door in the second bedroom was off the hinges. We didn’t use the community amenities so couldn’t speak to the condition or quality of these facilities. I’d say here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit had everything we needed and we loved the rental but the temperature in the unit was extremely hot. The thermostat was turned off the entire time and the temperature read 78. It was difficult for everyone to sleep at night because of the warm temps without cracking window. We reached out to the rental company and they said to look for another thermostat but offered no other solution. I would have given 5 Stars if the temperature issue was resolved. Also, the master tub was clogged when we arrived and we let them know.

Nice but needs a little touch

This is as a nice place albeit quite dated. Nothing I’m going to mention was terrible. I own several short term rentals and I would like this information from some who stayed there. Some of the window treatments are missing their decorative covers (standing free in the corners of rooms). This could potentially be a hazard or damage if abused by the wrong guest. Some of the burners on the stove were non functional. The thermostat didn’t seem to work for all the rooms. Second bedroom was hotter than the other spaces. On the other side: nicely supplied kitchen. Plenty of blankets provided. Nice guest book with lots of information. Helpful what to expect videos. Thanks for the quick stay and the nice location for a couple days of keystone skiing.

Old but adequate

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: As a former condo owner in River Run I am very familiar with the condos built in the early 2000s there. This unit is convenient and the price was a reasonable value but #2267 does not appear to ever have been updated in 20 years. Like other River Run condos there is no AC and no overhead fans so they can be quite hot at night during the summer time. While the master did cool down the second BR was hot even with a very noisy box fan in the window. The picture that is shown conveniently excludes the large round kitchen table that takes up a good portion of the living room. It is clearly way too oversized for such a small unit. I would recommend this property to a friend only if willing to put up with the above and not in the summertime.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were mostly satisfied with our experience with Red Hawk Lodge and Summit County Mountain Retreats, but it wasn't perfect. They gave good instructions in the web pages and emails. We were able to find the key box and condo easily. The 4:00 check-in would have delayed us, but it fortunately turned out the room was ready a bit early. The underground parking was OK, but one of our keys didn't work on the garage (or on the outside doors). The room was clean and equipped as described. Much quieter than some of the other condos we have rented in Keystone! The two of us in the master suite were satisfied, but the other two guests were not: We only got 3 keys (and one key did not work in the outside door). We were told that we could only use the garage for one car. The guest bath had towels, but no soap, shampoo, conditioner, the shower was cold and the hair dryer didn't work. In fairness, we didn't think it was worth calling to complain, so we don't know if it would have been made better. We would stay again.

We were extremely disappointed that the billiards balls were gone as one of the reasons we rented here was for the game room for my kids. When inquiring everyone seemed to blame everyone else. The property blamed the property managers who blamed the HOA. The steam room was also broken.
