“Cottage is well equipped and hosts left us welcome items such as fresh bread and milk on arrival . Good facilities in the kitchen and bathroom and good heating ! Everything was very clean. The main bedroom is very spacious - almost like a sitting room in itself . Village pubs good for food and village shop nearby for essentials . Easy access to local attractions and the coast by car and also info in cottage of walks directly from the village. Easy to communicate with the hosts by text with……

“Fantastic location. Ideal for what we needed but also really rural-feeling and peaceful. We found it quiet and charming. We enjoyed wandering in amongst the old orchard and down through the copse, across the scrubland that forms part of the floodplain of the Tyne. It was good to know there are badgers around although we weren’t lucky enough to see anyway. The dawn chorus was impressive. Very pleasant indeed. Definitely will book again if we’re back in the area. ”

“This apartment is tucked away on a nice quiet street, with a friendly pub half a street down. The level of cleanliness in the property was some of the best I have seen; you can clearly see that the owner cares about her business and customers! We had a lovely stay and got lots of activities done, from a boat tour in seahouses (40min drive) to see seals and dolphins, to an audio tour of warkworth castle (10min drive) and many other things along the way. Thanks for a great stay, we will be back!……

“We fell in love with this property and wish we could have extended our stay for at least a few more days, but we had other plans to move on to. The beautiful home is set upon a hill with amazing views of the countryside. We were able to really disconnect, and traveled to some local places to sightsee within nature, and into town for some dinner (plenty of options in the neighboring villages). “Lovely comfy cottage located in an ideal location for accessing Northumberland Coastline and Moors. Local amenities are great with the town of Morpeth less than 10 minutes away. The pub 100m from the cottage is a great local pub with good food and friendly staff. The quality of everything in the cottage is great, the hot tub and log burner are also fantastic and allowed for a very relaxing stay.We will definitely be back in the future.”
