The hotel is very nice. It has been around for some time and things such as the WiFi could be improved for sure. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I was unfortunate to get a sick stomach for a couple of days and they were very accommodating and helping me during these few days. I felt very well taken care of.

Location is rather good. About 500m to Central and in the busy area of Chaweng. Very important when you book this hotell is that you get a remove on the beach side of the street. Otherwise you will get a very noisy room Breakfast is ok but not special in any way. The Wifi is terrible. You are better of buying a SIM card from TRUE

This hotel was great for the price you pay. Is undergoing a renovation which I believe will make it even better. They don’t supply things like shower caps, cotton buds etc and you have to ask which was a little frustrating. Breakfast wasn’t the best we’ve had in our travels in Thailand but location is magnificent. 10 mins from nightmarket and bars and restaurants on your doorstop. Beds comfy, we got an ocean view room. Great value.

Great location. Breakfast buffet was good with great service. Did not clean the room the last two days of being there. Had to get our own clean towels and toilet paper. Pool and Bar attendant s were good but sat and smoked pot all day. Pool area could have a little more attention as cleanup was seldom done. Early morning front desk personnel did not know how to use the credit card machine. In spite of this we enjoyed our stay on Ko Samui.

We spent the extra $ and got the sunrise suite and the view was amazing however, although we appreciated the extra space, we were disappointed with the maintenance and upkeep of the room. There was once a clock in the kitchen and a second bedside table however they have been removed and yet you can see where they once were due to faded paint across dirty walls. There were no bedside lamps, no crockery in the kitchen and very little 'luxury' expected from a suite of this value. The bed was so hard, we may as well have slept on the floor. We did ask for a refund so we could relocate after the first night however they wouldn't even compromise for a partial refund... they did come into the room and put a thin quilt under the sheet which unfortunately made no difference. The pool however was lovely and it is in a nice quiet area of Chaweng - right on the beach so we made the most of that and slept on the beach beds during the day.

A hotel I have stayed on before and can revisit

A hotel previously known as Chaba Resort has a few years on its neck. That said it’s still a very nice place and the rooms are spacious. The parking lot could be bigger, especially during high season it could get crowded and not enough room. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and is what you could expect, no complaints!

We booked this hotel after extending couple of days on Koh Samui. Didn't expect too much given the pictures and ratings but I was surprised it offered more than I expected. Very friendly and helpful staff, the staff in the kitchen helping out making sure everything is in place during the breakfast, which by the way was more than enough. The rooms are kept clean, sure you can tell the bathroom is a bit old but we got it very cleaned every day. The location is perfect, if you're looking for the best suitable location at Chaweng Beach this hotel got you covered.

Would not recommend

No wifi in my room so I had to sit outside in a common area, the hotel is actually in two buildings so if you aren't in the ocean side you need to walk across a busy street to even get to the pool shown in the photos. The hotel is on a Main Street but from 10 am till 8 pm you can hear an announcement on constant repeat about an upcoming Muay Thai fight that drove me crazy. And during my entire stay (3 days) there were the same dishes in the hall down from my room. The room did seem clean and the door staff were friendly.
