"Excellent brand new hotel near Durbar Square at a great price in the heart of Thamel. I have been here one week and I love it. Staff are welcoming (I was greeted with a welcome drink) and everyone treats you in a very friendly and helpful manner. They also organized my trip to Pokhara for me. This is my first visit to Nepal and it has been a great introduction to the community. The restaurant has a very large menu with a lot of variety. I love the rooftop chill lounge and bar with sweeping 360 views of Kathmandu! I will definitely be coming back!

This was our first time staying at Vastu Boutique Hotel and it absolutely did not disappoint. The location is approx a 25/30 minute drive from Kathmandu Tribhuvan
International Airport, and is surrounded by markets, endless food opportunities, and local culture.
The room was clean, tidy, and gifted with complimentary items such as bottled water, travel soaps, shampoos, toothbrushes/toothpastes which were all an added touch. The room also came with a fridge/hair drying facilities.
At breakfast, you were able to add multiple items from the menu for no extra charge, making it a really worthwhile option to consider. There is also a rooftop where you can spend your time relaxing on those warmer days, taking in the views and of course the sunshine.
The staff at the hotel were brilliant, and could not do enough to make your stay there more comfortable, providing unlimited complimentary tea, coffee, and juice in addition to allowing us to check in earlier than due which was unexpected and an incredible help with our travels.
Vastu Boutique Hotel is incredibly good value for money with it being the perfect luxurious additional pre/post base camp stay and a hotel that we both could not recommend enough.
