"We regret another reservation of ours could not be completed due to lack of uniform internet. We reserved, therefore, at this establishment as a last minute solution. Please be aware the only window was the door itself. The bed and pillows were among the most uncomfortable we have ever endured. (Lumps.) The location itself is lovely. Yet there is no lobby/reception, so the name of "palazzo" is additionally misleading. Good luck if you must stay here. "

"Great location with easy mobility around the city. Needs to have better, clear instructions on how to access the inside of the building and rooms. My husband said that the bedroom rug was dirty. Overall 8/10."
"The room was clean and nice, bed was OK, but you share a bathroom with 5 other rooms and it seemed like it was always busy when I needed it. Parking not easy, but not impossible. Service was terrible. There is no automatic cleaning or replacement of linens you have to ask in writing, and it can only happen in the morning. The cleaning lady was INCREDIBLY rude. A smile or hello goes a long ways, but this woman seemed incapable of that."
"A beautifully maintained and furnished bed & breakfast close to the airport and within walking distance to sea. It’s a quiet location with amenities nearby such as restaurants, supermarket etc. The host Francesco was very responsive and provided excellent check-in instructions. I highly recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to stay at Thalassa Bari again. "

"The sea nearby was nice, very walkable area! The host was not very pleasant! We arrived to no air conditioning, one of the reasons I chose this place. She apparently said there was a fan instead which we didn't understand. It was extremely hot, very noisy, and the smoke from people on the sidewalk made it unbearable. My brother tried to stay but all those things were too much. The host refused to refund any money even though he only stayed two or three of the ten he planned to be there. He checked out and got a different place with air conditioning right arpund the corner. Would never stay there again due to those reasons and hostess being very unpleasant. "
"We were greeted by the lovely Mariella even though we arrived very late (flight delay). Antonio arranged for us the be picked up at the airport by Luca who was so gracious and helpful. Then the home was perfect. Yes, there are a lot of stairs (but in the 17th century there weren’t many elevators). And, yes, there are a couple of short doorway thresholds but folks back then were shorter. We loved these idiosyncrasies! Step and duck has us physically fit now. The place opened up to the port piazza which was teeming with activity every night. We were hoping to enjoy a true Italian experience and we got it. The place is steps away from beaches which we enjoyed every day. There are also restaurants steps away and gelaterias everywhere. We met some lovely neighbors and cannot express how much we enjoyed our stay at Antonio and Chantal place. Definitely recommend it and hope to be back one day. "
