This is a great way to experience the local culture. The location for this event is usually on the beach directly opposite the block where this apartment is situated - which means that you will have a great view of the party and will be able to experience the wonderful atmosphere - but keep in mind that there will be loud music from the party. The 'Festa do Banho' takes place on 1 night only (29 August). However, other events may take place before that date. Please take this into consideration if you are intending to stay in this apartment at the end of August. This corner unit gives you the best balcony views and breeze. There is a full size patio table on the balcony so we ate there a lot. The kitchen is well stocked with a complete set of new dishes, lots of pots and pans. AC works well and has a sleep setting for the fan which makes it very quiet at night. This is our second booking with Destination Algarve and they are great. They are quick to respond and to send someone over when needed. We will return. This comment is not directed towards Destination Algarve, but it would be nice if the building owner put lights in the lobby that stayed on all night.
