9.2/10 Wonderful! (4,026 reviews)
Very nice clean modern hotel. Our room had a double bed and sofa bed as well, so slightly larger. Place to hang clothes, but no closet as per older hotels. House cleaning did an excellent job. Bathroom large and quite nice.
The good: Employees we dealt with were uniformly nice!
Helped us with local restaurants, advice on touring, etc.
The cafe had great coffee, a modest happy hour for wine and beer, and very nice "grab and go" sandwiches and salads.
The less good: We were hoping for a bucket of ice each day, but one had to go to the downstairs cafe and there, a large plastic cup (or two or three) were offered at no charge, but water and soda had to be bought down there too, as no vending machines on the floors. (Two free small bottles of water on the first day, then tap water or buy some...)
Overall, I WOULD definitely recommend the Riu Plaza Times Square! 4.5 stars!
