Relax in this beautifully decorated, newly built, contemporary log cabin situated a block from Lake Wallenpaupack and Deer Lake. This year round log home is located in Wallenpaupack Lake Estates, a lake community with many extra amenities such as an indoor heated pool with sauna, two outdoor pools with grill/picnic areas, a snack bar, sand beach on Deer Lake, private 'community only' boat launch and swim docks on Lake Wallenpaupack, tennis courts, beach volleyball, baseball field, basketball, kid's lodge with games/play ground, and skateboarding park. There are also 2 Kayaks for renters to use (seasonally) on Deer Lake.

The home has three bedrooms (all with queen size beds) and can comfortably accommodate 2-6 adults. A large covered front deck, rear deck with gas grill, full kitchen (including microwave, dishwasher, coffeemaker, toaster, 6-person dishware/silverware, cooking utensils and plenty of pots & pans), full-size washer/dryer, dining area, Internet TV, wireless internet connection and ample parking for you and your boat, are just some of the perks. We have a variety of family games and movies.

Great short stay near the poconos

We stayed here because it was central to a few different hiking spots within an hour of the house. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for a great stay. Victoria was on top of communication and was very accommodating to our group.

Cozy cabin

We loved this cozy cabin. I had everything we needed for our Thanksgiving getaway. The cabin is decorated very nice, beds very comfortable and very clean. Loved the visits from deer everyday!! Great place.

Beautiful cabin

Tastefully decorated, comfortable cabin. Had everything we needed. Victoria was easy to communicate with. Great location near the lake for us to go hiking, kayaking, fishing. Really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be coming back!

Nice house

Very nice house and location. We’ve stayed in this area before that’s why we came back. The fire pit area was very nice and shady. All around it was a very nice experience.

Cozy cabin

Cozy cabin, well stocked, nice and clean. Relaxing front porch and easy walk to dock at main lake. The golf cart was very useful for getting to Deer Lake Beach & swimming pool. Thank you for a nice, relaxing stay.

Good location

Our family had a good experience staying here. There was plenty to do nearby & restaurants closely. The lake was great for kayaking & Wallenpaupak for boating, tubing & water skiing. The house was nice with 2 bathrooms & quiet spots for relaxing too. Thank you!

Great place, perfect for a weekend with the family

My family had a fantastic stay here over the Thanksgiving holiday; it was perfect for the five of us - cozy but also large enough that we never felt cramped. It was a little cold that week but we still managed to use the outdoor grill, and even sit bundled up on the front porch, which is very comfortable and relaxing. And the cold was not a problem indoors - the heat kept us warm and there's plenty of games and cable TV for anyone not wanting to leave the house. Would definitely stay here again.

I can’t say enough good things about this house and Vickie! Just as promised, the deer were there to great us upon our arrival and the kids loved it! Vickie was easy and great to contact. She answered immediately. The house was clean and the rooms were spacious. We had fun exploring the area and the lakes. Would love to visit again!

Quick Getaway

We wére so nick sömeone canceled and we were able to get this property at the last minute! We loved it! It has everything you'll ever need or want. And Victoria the host was amazing. The house was beautiful in a great location. The availability of a golf cart and kayaks made the experience next level. And my kids loved feeding the deer who come right up to the house! We'll definitely be back again!

We had a really good time staying at the Cabin, it was very relaxing and the Cabin is beautiful, It rained the whole weekend. That didn't stop us from using the grill on the back porch and looking at the deer roaming the yards, we took a nice walk to the lake and visit the pool area...I would suggest this home to anyone who is looking...Heather is very kind and responded quickly...we want to come back during the summer months...

Very beautiful cozy cabin.

I went with my family. Check in and check out information was sent by the owner. All the information were ver helpful. When we arrived deers came right away. Cabin was amazing very beautiful and clean. Everything was same hist explained to us. Lake was frozen beautiful but could not do fishing. We definitely come back in Summer

Sanctuary

I traveled with my husband from California to go to memorial services for his sister. Although this was a sad occasion, the cabin provided us peace and serenity. Everything about the cabin reminded us of the Home my parents use to have in the Poconos. We were able to spend valuable time with family. Fun Times

My family and I had a wonderful time at Victoria's home. The home was clean from top to bottom. Comfortable beds provided all a great nights rest from all of the fun. From swimming in the indoor pool on a rainy day, feeding the deer, exploring the neighborhood on the golf cart, swimming at the lake, outdoor pool and of course making smores & memories each night at the fire pit. Great getaway

This was a lovely place to get away from the hustle and bustle for a long weekend. There seem to be plenty of adventures nearby, but there’s so much to do in the community that we didn’t need to venture out during our limited time. The only challenge was the lighting. My family enjoys reading, especially in the evening. The lighting was fine for watching tv or socializing, but it was difficult to read.

A must place to stay in!!

This cabin was perfect and very very clean! Very cozy and well kept. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Checkin was as easy as it gets and Vickie made sure there where carrots in the fridge for the deer. We bought more carrots and more corn so the next renters can enjoy them as much as we did. The one with white spot in the middle of his head was my wife’s buddy, he would take the carrots right outta her hand. Very quiet neighborhood. Thanks again Vickie and hope to return soon!

Such a amazing find!!

This was our first time staying in this area in PA. Such an amazing experience all around! EXTREMELY clean! So much to do even when the weather is not in your favor! The kids loved feeding the deer, They are super friendly! The golf cart came in handy the entire time! Fishing was great, if you come from Jersey make sure to purchase a Fishing licenses for PA prior to going. Everything was amazing and it felt like you were right at home in the cabin! Highly recommend staying here! Great Place for your family to visit, and the hosts Vikki was so great throughout the entire process!

Beyond Our Expectations

From the moment we stepped into this beautiful home, it was beyond all our expectations. This was the first vacation rental for us ever and now we will always set future rentals to this one. There were very well thought out comforts provided such as the fishing poles, life jackets for kayaks, beach chairs, beach towels, games, movies, housewares and cozy home decor. The kids enjoyed the two nearby lakes and the swimming pools. The home was very spacious and cozy. We would love to come back and would highly recommend our family and friends to come here for a relaxing vacation.
