Langenwang Vacations from $1,983

Lovely hotel with friendly staff. My room was at the front of the hotel which could be a little noisy… especially with ambulances dashing by… the hotel is near 2 hospitals. However this did not distract from the quality of the hotel. I was also given a free bus and tram ticket to use for the whole of my stay. Public transport is plentiful near the hotel. I can recommend the hotel and would definitely use it again.

We had a great time staying at Krone 1512. It was a great location in the center of the shipping area. The room was great for 2 of us. We had a room that the window opened onto the shopping street- that was super fun to open and take in the sight. The hotel also offers free tea and coffee in the main dining area anytime of day. So you don’t have tea or coffee available in the room. This shopping area is not the old town that has Mozarts home and the castle- that’s a 10-15 minute walk. Which is totally doable. The parking was a bit of a walk from the hotel so just a heads up if you have lots of luggage. A restaurant suggestion we loved- Superstanza (italian) 4 minutes from the hotel.

So the hotel room was nice and rooms were clean and well maintained. The location was only a few minutes away from the best sites in Salzburg and close to the train station so the location was great. Once I got to my room The biggest thing to note though is it is more of a remote style hotel, which is fine if you are expecting it. But do be aware that the expectation is to check in remotely, ( as early as 8-9 pm when I got there). So if you book this hotel, I would suggest following up on any emails they send for check-in before you get there. The system they had seemed fine as long as it is done before you get there.

Breakfast and coffee were great. Staffs are friendly.
