"Convenient to get to Merode. Unfortunately we stayed the night there was a large group also staying and there was a lot of noise. We were also mostly unable to use the kitchen because the group that was staying kind of took it over. Parking and access was a bit tricky, as another guest had parked in two spots, so we had to find a place a few blocks away. The keypad for the door was a bit sensitive. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable."

"Sehr freundlicher Empfang der Besitzerin, die man allerdings vorher mit Angabe der Ankunftszeit anrufen muss, da der Empfang nicht permanent besetzt ist. Zimmer (unter der Dachschräge) sehr sauber und gut mit Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle, Kaffeemaschine und Schreibtisch ausgestattet. Wegen der Dachschräge ist die Kopfhaltung nicht immer optimal, aber für einige wenige Übernachtungsnächte erträglich. Zimmerservice hatten wir keinen, aber vielleicht ist das übers Wochenende normal. " Very clean hotel/room, pleasant staff and a wonderful breakfast selection (though a bit pricey). I would have given it 5 stars if not for the odd room layout. I had a single queen room. The toilet was immediately to the left of the door, but the sink, shower and tub were around the corner. I found that odd. There was an electric kettle in the room with a few tea and instant coffee selections, and a mini fridge. The room size was good with two windows that you could open. I came in by train and you can take bus 3 or 13 to the Hansemannplatz stop. Cross the street to Peterstraße and the hotel is down on the left. Easy to get to and a short walk further down Peterstraße gets you towards the old town. "
