"Went to stay at Mad Monkey for 3 days in the shared dorm for the doublebed room for couples. It was some lovely people and very helpful staf. It has happy hour for 4 hours a day, you get a free drink when arriving and they have aircon in the rooms. The rooms are still warm but feel quite private. "So the hostel is doing lots of renovations! So the property looks dirtier than the pictures show. There were no towels given but we brought our own. Staff were friendly but the language barrier was a problem. I think once they are done renovating and clean up the property will be beautiful!"

"Hostel staff were kind enough to give me welcome drink when checking in. I could rent a bicycle for 100K/24h, so I could go to Blue Lagoon 1 and Tham Chang Cave on my own. Morning Market is held near this hostel. Breakfast was good."

"I had high hopes for this place since the photos looked so nice. But soon became disappointed. I got a single room and the bed was truly awful. I felt I was sleeping on a box spring or something even worse. When I walked in there was hair all over the pillows and the towel they gave me was dirty and brown. "Got to the hostel and it was total chaos. They showed us 5 rooms before actually finding the one we had booked. Some of the rooms was already ocupied by others, so that made us feel our stuff was unsafem when we got our room, the toilet did not work and there were ants in the bed. We got upgraded after a bit of arguing and the new room was Ok, at best. Stains on the sheets etc. Makes for a not to cosy stay... the shower is completly usless. "I only stayed here for 12 hours as a stop point but I almost wish I stayed longer. Very clean, welcoming and comfortable place. Cute theme and good location. Beds are comfortable and allow good space. You get a free coffee or tea once you arrive which is nice. They looked like they had a lot of activities you could do. I would come back."

"I am from Singapore and I am very happy with the choice I have made to choose Holiday Inn Suites Vientiane by IHG. The hotel is perfectly nice and it looks new. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable. In the early morning, if you are facing the right direction , you may be able to watch the sunrise from your room at around 6 am! And that's a bonus! The staff is friendly and helpful especially a lady by the name of Ms. In. She had help me a lot during my stay here by arranging the transfer of room smoothly. All this happen because of my tour being rescheduled to the very next day which I am suppose to have a transfer of room. My luggages and bags are very personal to me and I would rather handle it myself. What Ms. In did was amazing! She knew I was stress up due to the unfortunate reschedule of my tour that coincide with the transfer of room, she had came out with an idea that helps me to solve the issue smoothly. I am really happy and appreciate the help that she had given. She is professional and will definitely be an asset to Holiday Inn Suites Vientiane by IHG. So far my stay here had been excellent. I enjoy it so much! Highly recommended to all that are coming here to Laos!"
