"Very relaxing and comfortable stay. Matt is a great cook and very knowledgeable about the area and willing to share and answer any questions. His wife Leanne and daughter were super. The animals were a treat and the railroad history and cabooses a great theme. This is a hidden gem and I would highly recommend it."

"Each summer I try to get my older grandchildren together for a long weekend away. This year it happened to be the 4th of July weekend. We all traveled over the mountains from the Seattle area for a fabulous get together at a beautiful home! It generally falls to me to select the place where we stay so naturally I feel a great deal of responsibility for making sure the location suits our needs. This house was amazing! It is so comfortable and easy to stay in that our weekend was a huge success! we had an 11-month-old with us and there was even a Kiddie Gate to block the stairs as well as appropriate dishes for the baby to use! The descriptions of the house and the available features are absolutely accurate! As I said, we had a fabulous time and we left saying we will do it again next summer!!"

"By design, Jared’s place is a phenomenal vacation home for a group of friends or family. The cooking amenities are top-notch, the spa was a great source of relaxation, and we all became pickleball athletes by the end of the trip. The only snafu happened with check-in—the cleaning crew was not yet finished when we arrived for check-in time, and even seemed surprised to see us, stating that they were “not done.” Nervous about getting in their way, we sat in our car for about a half-hour until they were done. It was a tough start, especially given that we were asked a few weeks in advance if the cleaning crew could start cleaning after our own reservation an hour before check-out (which we were happy to do, but it was disappointing to not receive the same timely cleaning for our check-in). Aside from that, it was a great stay!"

"Beautiful place to visit. The food was terrific and beautiful facilities. They do charge for everything and it is costly. Definitely visit again just a longer trip than a weekend there is a lot to do on this property. "

"We have dogs who are terrified of fireworks and shut down completely, so we wanted to get away from the noise in Marysville and escape to a woodsy area where there were likely to be no fireworks, and that proved to be true. The cabin is scenic and overlooks a beautiful view of the river below. We followed the path down to the river and it was so enjoyable, and our dogs loved it. The river water was crystal clear. We don't see that very often! The little touches of amenities inside the cabin were very welcome, and well thought out, as well as above average. But the best part were the hosts, they were so helpful, and friendly. We were very pleased."

"This motel was built back when walls were solid. They were almost full up, yet we never heard a peep from any of our neighbors. The breakfast is good, and the proprietors are top notch. We will definitely stay here again!"
