The sand was contaminated with many algae, but I was informed that some of the algae are left on the beach because they are part of a micro ecosystem. Beautiful view, spacious with a kitchen. It's a nice spot. However you get what you get once you arrive (ie. don't ask for anything). Very minimal kitchen supplies, Ice maker didn't work and panel to adjust refrigerator/freezer temperatures was broken. We called the front desk 3 times to get ice. Each time they said they would send someone up but no one ever came. Also there are no nearby grocery stores, so unless you have rented a car, it's a hassle to try and stock the kitchen. Restaurant was very good and quick beach walk to the Beach Bar which was terrific. Indian restaurant across the street was exceptional too.

Sunset Reefs is simply extraordinary! From the location to the staff to the food. Our best meals of the week were at Drop the Anchor. I cannot say enough about the amazing experience we had. I’d highly recommend!
