“WE had an excellent stay with our two young grandchildren. It was perfectly located as we had visited Chatham historic dockyard and spending the next day at Tenterden heritage railway. “What a fantastic stay. We chose this property as we needed to vacate our home whilst work was being done, but it ended up so much more than just a place to lay our heads. The location, near the main road was ideal, but actually very quiet, as it was set down a hill. Pauline, the owner, couldn't have been more accomodating, finding extra parking for us and sorting out things very quickly. The location was brilliant, especially for our 2 dogs who loved the peaceful walks in the near vacinity”

“Lovely find for last minute! The cottage was just perfect for what we needed and loved the bbq and fire pit for us to do ourselves, very quiet and is so isolated for location, you could hear a pin drop. Lovely hosts also that showed us around, very friendly and book with all local information and contact information if we needed any help also! We will definitely come back for longer in The future! ”

“We had a very nice stay. In the cottage all the utensils you could wish for are there. We were warmly welcomed by Mrs S. Who informed us about a very nice garden we could visit and a small church in Tudely where Marc Chagall made 12 very beautiful glass windows. Rochester is a beautiful city, with many old tipacally English houses, an impressive castle and cathedral, on the Medway. The only difficulty for us Dutch people, was the trafic in the area, so fast and so many roundabouts. ”

"The hotel has recently been refurbished but still has the ‘old’ side which you can select the room for stay if you are interested in this historic experience. Those rooms will be available for cheaper prices as well. I chose to stay at the ‘newer’ side for my accommodation this time as they are usually more comfortable for a good night sleep. I was correct and the room looks amazing and spacious too! What a wonderful refurbishment with great designs. Staff were also very helpful and friendly with the hospitality service. Their breakfast or dining area seems lovely although I took it outside instead as there’s so much to do and eat outside the hotel as well. I would loved to stay here once again if I come round for a visit once again. "
