"This beautiful house sits right along the river in a private location. My wife and I, our two daughters, and their husbands had a wonderful time there. We enjoyed meals together at the dining table and on the screened deck. Our favorite thing was time spent laughing together each night around the firepit table. Location was quiet yet still only a few miles to a grocery store. "

"The only two downsides were a lack of WiFi and cell service (only available in the main house) and no GPS. They do send you very detailed directions, but if you are wholly unfamiliar with the area, it can be a little unsettling to be on winding roads outside of civilization with no cell service. I admittedly panicked (we drove for 12 straight hours overnight), and our friend was on the verge of declaring us missing because he couldn't get in touch with us. Obviously, we were totally fine and laughed about it later. The resort itself was beautiful, quiet, and the staff were very friendly. The cabins were cozy and warm, as we were there in February/March when it was cold, and the exterior bath house was also very warm. It was clean and there was plenty of hot water. I highly recommend if you're looking to escape into nature."
