“The host didn’t communicate or send the access code until some time after checking in so we were late for our event. Pulling into the driveway we noticed a broken window, broken cellar door, broken fence, lawn was a 2ft pasture, and there is no view, just houses stacked driveway to driveway. It mentions a porch with a golf course view, neither exist. The golf course is blocks away. Then he called to say he’s bringing the towels he forgot but we never stayed to find out if they made it. The cottage was clean, quaint, cozy, and comfortable, and the beautiful sunsets over the lake were definitely a highlight!A few minor things to note: the kayaks could use some upkeep, as they had standing water in them and we couldn’t locate life jackets. Also - I’m very sensitive to cigarette smoke and did notice a lingering odor, particularly from the couch. Your advertised “beach access” could also be more clearly identified when at the lake front—we had……

“The Boathouse is literally on the water with all of the amenities you need to take in the pond and nature. It is a quiet and serene area. My only recommendation is load up with beer, wine and food before arriving. You won’t want to leave and there isn’t much food in area.”
