"Beautiful hotel excellent staff"

"The bed was soooooo comfortable and the staff was very helpful - not just professional but friendly and welcoming. We had a small issue with our car, we parked it in fron of the hotel to check in and by the time we got back out, there was a police officer writing us up. The officer saw we really were unloading and cancelled the ticket, but the staff got quite upset as they normally have an arrangement with the police that before writing up someone on the special spott "for unloading only" they check with reception if the people are indeed checking in and I just know the emlployee must have given him an earful when she spotted him..."

"Because of the automated check-in, you do have to wait until the allotted time. However, this is the only real drawback. The rooms are large and clean, the beds comfortable and the staff very helpful (if you ever even need them, given how well-organised things are). It’s a short walk into Aachen centre, but you can get the bus, if needed."

"We liked the size of the room and where the hotel was located in the town. It was easy to access the F1 shuttle and walkable for many good cafes and restaurants. There was also a very cute dog that may have lived with the owner that was a big highlight. We did not like the condition of the hotel or room. The pictures on the website were obviously of a better time for the hotel. The bed was uncomfortable, the two very old pillows were almost not pillows, the bed linens and towels were very worn. The shower had great water pressure but the shower enclosure was awkward and ineffective. The bathroom floor was very slippery with so much water getting on it. There was no tv, the wifi was not good and the parking is just general street parking ( which we had no problem finding parking). Overall, I would personally not stay at this hotel again. It is way too run down and old. However the place would be cute if some love and care was put back into it. "
