This property was a little run down for a Double Tree. It was really hard to find our room. I don’t know how many doors and halls we traveled through before we found it. Things aren’t well marked. The atrium area was neat. It was quiet. We were worried when we arrived there were a bunch of buses in the parking lot but there were no problems with that.

Checking in was good, very nice and friendly staff that answered my questions when I needed them. One thing was I would ask is, for the key work for both doors only issue I had, and a staff member was able to get me back into my room

This Hotel Missed the Memo on Doing It Easier

And that's a good thing! The fact that they had a laundry bag, an actual closet with hangers, a safe, a fridge, a hairdryer, hair and body products available, AND curtains that close completely and were not just for decoration were incredible. It really felt like a timecapsule of a hotel from the mid-2000s or before were a hotel looked, felt, and operated like your temporary home. And the sheets weren't the polyester nightmare that so many other hotels insist on! I was able to temperature regulate instead of slowly steaming my skin all night. Fantastic staff, fantastic stay, highly, highly recommend!

OK, but not top notch.

Front desk staff - friendly, efficient. Hot tub and one elevator was out of commission. Breakfast is ok. Bed was super comfortable, but the pillows could be better. Would stay again while traveling but it's not top notch.
