"The location was wonderful to walk into aplit old town. The host was so nice and also willing to help with anything. Free car parking was convienient. Walking distance to veautiful beach. Older style decor and simplistic but clean and just fine for what sleeping and eating. Pillows werenunconfortable and he brought me new softer pillows for next tmnight which was very kind. "

"Had an amazing stay, would thoroughly recommend. It being slightly detached from the town made it a really desirable place to stay in terms of how quiet it was. The little houses were an interesting concept and I really enjoyed mine. The only criticism I’d have is that there is no street lighting or pavement on the main road for the first maybe 200-300 metres, making walking at nighttime slightly disconcerting, but that shouldn’t put you off staying in this wonderful complex."

The hotel itself is outstanding but that's never what makes the difference between extremely good hotel and a world class, top end boutique hotel this. It's the staff,they care. They care about doing an unbeatable, professional job with pride. Most importantly they care about you. So this is not really a review of the hotel (they don't really need it), it's a review of You. "Starting with the positive, this hotel truly shines when it comes to its proximity to the beach and local attractions. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful. However, our recent stay was unfortunately marred by a series of issues that impacted our experience.
In one of our rooms, we encountered a clogged shower and a broken air conditioning unit, making for an uncomfortable stay. The refrigerator was also noticeably dirty upon arrival. In the second room, the AC unit was leaking. These maintenance issues are simply unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber.
Considering we booked this hotel specifically for its beach amenities, we were severely let down, for two out of our four days, the hotel ran out of beach towels by 10 AM, with staff unable to provide any estimate for when more would be available. Furthermore, the hotel's beach chairs were completely claimed by 5 AM every morning, forcing us to pay for external chairs daily. This completely negated one of the primary reasons we chose this hotel.
To compound these problems, the hotel staff seemed indifferent to our concerns. When we brought these issues to their attention, while they addressed them, there was a distinct lack of empathy or urgency to resolve them. A more friendly and proactive approach from the staff would have gone a long way in mitigating our frustration.
While the location is undeniably a major draw, the multitude of problems was notable. "
